Poland is a country in Europe; its capital is Warsaw. Its flag is often confused with Indonesia, Monaco, Singapore.

Meaning & history of the Poland flag

Poland's flag is simply white over red in two equal horizontal bands, taken directly from the national coat of arms — a white eagle on a red field. White is associated with the eagle and with peace and purity, red with the field and with courage and the blood of patriots. Its near-twin, Monaco's flag, reverses the two colours.
