Bahrain is a country in Asia; its capital is Manama. Its flag is often confused with Qatar.
Meaning & history of the Bahrain flag
Bahrain's flag is red with a white band at the hoist separated by a serrated zigzag edge of five points. Red is a traditional colour of the Persian Gulf states, and white denotes peace and truces. The five white points came to represent the five pillars of Islam, the number fixed in 2002 to distinguish the flag from neighbouring Qatar's.
