Mozambique is a country in Africa; its capital is Maputo.

Meaning & history of the Mozambique flag

Mozambique's flag has green, black and yellow horizontal bands separated by white fimbriations, with a red triangle at the hoist bearing a star, book, hoe and rifle. It is the only national flag to feature a modern rifle (an AK-47). The emblem represents defence and vigilance (rifle), education (book) and agriculture (hoe), on the star of Marxism and internationalism.
