India's flag, the Tiranga, has saffron, white and green horizontal bands with a navy-blue 24-spoke Ashoka Chakra centred. Saffron represents courage and sacrifice, white peace and truth, and green faith and fertility. The Chakra, the wheel of dharma from Emperor Ashoka's Lion Capital, signifies the eternal wheel of law and forward motion.
