Meaning & history of the Bosnia and Herzegovina flag

Bosnia and Herzegovina's flag is blue with a yellow triangle and a diagonal line of white stars running along its edge. The three points of the triangle represent the country's three main peoples — Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs — and its shape suggests the map of the country. The stars, seemingly infinite, symbolise Europe. It was imposed in 1998 as a neutral design after the war.
