Armenia is a country in Asia; its capital is Yerevan.

Meaning & history of the Armenia flag

Armenia's flag is a horizontal tricolour of red, blue and orange. Red recalls the blood shed for survival and the Armenian Highlands, blue the Armenian sky and will to live in peace, and orange (apricot) the creative talent and hard-working nature of the people. The design was first used by the short-lived First Republic in 1918 and readopted in 1990.
